The Xspot Mark-I is a cost-effective complete outdoor
gateway and access point solution designed for standalone or small to
medium-sized public-access hotspot locations. The Xspot Mark-I,
working in the 2.4GHz or the 5GHz band, is
the perfect match for enterprises or providers deploying hotspot locations.
Automatic configuration
(Call Home), Virtual Gateway technology, Bandwidth Control per user
per session, VPN client-services allows you to quickly bring Internet
bandwidth to your mobile customers. Because it is wireless and license-free, you can install an Xspot
Mark-I when and where you need it.
The Xspot Mark-I is equipped with a
firewall, capable of handling port blacklist and port whitelist, and
can also push content to an customers based on location information.
Anyone with a
computer, notebook, PDA or mobile phone which is wirelessly enabled,
can use the broadband connectivity services. With the help of one
the standard features of the Xspot Mark-I you can simple start a
wirelessly enabled device, select the network, activate the
internet-browser and sign-up by using a credit card, mobile phone or
enter the login/password combination.
