Hopling Technologies Releases a Software Upgrade
for its Suite of Back Office Systems

2008 - Hopling Technologies, a manufacturer of
state-of-the-art wireless networking equipment for
enterprises, operators and service providers, today
announced a major software upgrade of its suite of back
office systems. Hopling Technologies offers a powerful suite
of back office systems to manage, monitor and control
broadband wireless networks.
Hopling Technologies works closely with its customers,
understanding their needs and focusing development to
realize and implement best business practices. With the
enhancement of the back office suite and the recently
announced HopWARE v3.2 release, Service Providers can
remotely configure, identify, diagnose and manage wireless
networks via simple click-on icons, and context-based
commands.
The back office systems incorporate an easy-to-use,
web-based management interface that enables both remote and
local administration. Built-in Ethernet connections simplify
system setup, providing a high-performance, plug-and-play
solution. Intuitive Web User Interface and SMTP servers have
been incorporated in every back office system, along with
complete VPN pass-through support for secure remote access
needs.
The new back office software release also includes immediate
application features and functionality enhancements that
will support existing customers. These features include:
enhanced network diagnostics, a centralized system log file,
an email incident notification engine, file management as
well as a new and improved graphical interface and easier
navigation.
The Xfire Hopman is the central network configuration and
monitoring system. The Xfire Hopbase features as the Network
Services Manager and the Xfire Hoptun acts as Network VPN
Tunnel Terminator. The Xfire Hopman together with the Xfire
Hopbase and Xfire Hoptun form a complete back office system
for managing wireless network elements and the management of
the customer base, with full AAA functionality.
The Xfire Hopman and Xfire Hopbase functions have been
integrated and now provide for among others:

The complete solution
integrates network monitoring, network configuration, AAA
functionality, billing system interface and location based
services. The Xfire Hopman and the Xfire Hopbase servers are
usually installed in a co-located server room and connected to
the Internet using public IP addresses.
Hopling Technologies is making substantial investments in
embedded software development and other technologies in order to
drive costs lower and establish cost leadership. With the
introduction of this major software upgrade of its suite of back
office systems and the recently announced HopWARE v3.2 release,
