Almere, September 12, 2006 - Hopling Technologies, a fast growing
technology leader in IP-based wireless networking
equipment for enterprises,
operators and service providers,
announced today
that
its parent company has become the largest shareholder in
Hotspot
Services. The company will be renamed in
Hopling Services
and will be responsible for Business Services and Managed
Services.
The acquisition builds on a long-term cooperation between
Hotspot Services and Hopling Technologies in the key wireless
internet service provider market.
Together, the companies are forging the future of
wireless access software service solutions
leveraging a centralized system, enabling companies to deploy
ownership over the revenue-generating service offerings that
interface with intelligent wireless equipment combining
perfectly with centralized state-of-art front- and back-office
software.

Aad van Diepen, who will continue his role as Managing Director
of Hopling Services, has also been named Vice President Global
Services at Hopling Technologies. The new
Global
Services unit of Hopling Technologies provides companies with
business and integrated technology IP-based wireless solutions &
services that deliver real business outcomes.
Aad van Diepen’s new position was effective with the closing of
the transaction.
