Hopling Technologies appoints Sales Director for the
Benelux and Scandinavian markets
Almere, May 1, 2006 - Hopling Technologies, a fast growing
technology leader in IP-based wireless networking equipment for
enterprises, operators and service providers, is pleased to announce
today
that it has appointed Bob Straatsburg
as Sales Director Benelux and Scandinavia.
Bob joins Hopling Technologies from

Hopling Technologies will intensify its customer acquisition focus
by targeting key market segments that are best suited to leverage
our unique assets. We target these markets with solutions based on a
new kind of robust virtual coherent and converged wireless IP-based
infrastructure – one that is scalable, secure, affordable and quick
to deploy anywhere, anytime, anyplace. All our products support
voice over IP (VoIP) and voice over
wireless local area networks (VoWLANs) based on SIP technology.
Chief Executive Officer Frank Koopman
is enthusiastic about the latest addition to the Sales Team. “Bob’s
appointment is directly linked to our strategy to increase the
commercial strength in our home-markets. With his extensive industry
experience, Bob clearly understands the wireless environment, and
his ability to focus on application markets is in complete alignment
with our business direction.''
In 2002, Bob worked as Consultant for the Rabobank where he was
responsible for the implementation of a company-wide CRM program.
Late 1999, Bob was appointed Sales Director Carrier Wholesale of
Global Crossing Benelux. Before his successful Global Crossing

Networking Systems division of Lucent Technologies. Bob started his
career at the notorious computer company Digital Equipment, where he
worked for over 20 years mostly in international sales positions.
Bob is a
Telecommunications and Technology Ambassador for the Royal Dutch
Institute of Engineering (KIVI),
