Hopling Technologies Receives $600,000 Order for
New Multi-Radio Wireless Mesh Network Nodes

Almere, January 22, 2007 - Hopling Technologies, a fast growing technology leader in IP-based wireless networking equipment for enterprises, operators and service providers, announced today that StarMesh Technologies, has placed a $600,000 order for Hopling Technologies Xnet Viper mesh network nodes. The order will provide 400 wireless mesh nodes for one of StarMesh Technologies’ largest customer, WebNet Converged Wireless Network Ltd., (WebNet CWN), which is building a citywide wireless Mesh Network in 12 Canadian Cities and rolling out in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“The Hopling Technologies Xnet Viper product line is one of the most advanced mesh network modes in the broadband wireless industry,” said Robert Veltman, President of StarMesh Technologies. “The Xnet Viper nodes can be configured with up to four 2.4GHz, 3.5GHz, 4.9GHz, 5GHz, and/or 900MHz radios that all provide layer 2 and layer 3 routing capabilities. Our customer base likes the features and benefits of the Hopling Technologies product line that come at a substantially lower cost than competitive vendors.”

“We were the most impressed with its layer 2 and layer 3 routing technology, low power requirements and the price/performance ratio compared to the other vendors,” said Paul Soddy, WebNet CWN’s Chief Technology Officer.”

“Our engineering team was also impressed with Hopling Technologies’ HopWARE Mesh Architecture (HMA) capabilities to build very large wireless city-wide networks,” said Gregory C. Carrington, Chief Executive Officer of WebNet CWN. “From a business planning perspective, the most attractive feature to us was the price. Our Company is currently deploying 12 markets in Canada and planning for the deployment of 50 markets in the United States throughout 2007, so price was a major consideration for us. In the United States alone, we are budgeting for significant purchases of Hopling Technologies equipment during 2007. We are very pleased with the guidance and expertise that StarMesh Technologies’ pre-sales team provided us in helping select markets with the highest propensity to buy wireless broadband products and services.”

“We are extremely excited that WebNet CWN placed its first order of Xnet Viper nodes with StarMesh Technologies,” said Frank Koopman, Chief Executive Officer of Hopling Technologies. “By using our equipment, WebNet CWN is now able to deploy its Networks with the best proven products available today for wireless metropolitan area networks. They can now focus on building and expanding their Network more rapidly.”
